Wolverine Software Internship Program

The software internship is a 12 week hands-on program developed for students to experience our software development process as well as our company culture.

Internship Openings

We have internship positions in a number of technology areas with opportunities to work on client-side/UI applications, server-side applications, web development, and database administration.

Projects

Interns will have the opportunity to work on full projects with mentors and other team members. They will understand business needs, learn about designing an application, implement code, test, and deploy a project. Interns will work with different technologies and interact with members throughout the firm.

On-site Education

While we do not require our software interns to have prior trading knowledge, we think it is important to have a fundamental understanding of the business. Wolverine provides this education through our on-site Basic Options course taught by our education staff. In addition, interns will attend seminars about technology in various areas of the firm.

Activities

On top of having hands-on programming experience, interns will participate in company sponsored activities. We encourage our interns to learn about our company culture and enjoy Chicago’s city life.

Qualifications

We are looking for students who want to have a worthwhile experience in software development. Students should have a background in computer science or computer engineering and have good problem solving skills.
