Position Title: Software Engineer

Position Summary
The software engineer will build custom real-time trading applications. Software engineers may work on the following teams:

Wolverine Trading Platform Team
Role: Expand and optimize the proprietary equity, options, and futures electronic trading platform. The platform displays real-time data and performs order routing, order execution, position management, risk analysis, and profit and loss calculations.

Rapid Applications Development Team
Role: Design robust applications that automate trading processes and manage risk; deliver scalable solutions that handle large amounts of data efficiently; and build custom user interfaces that assist in trading operations.

Market Data Team
Role: Incorporate real-time market data into market-making and other high-performance systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform full life-cycle development of trading applications using C++, C#, SQL, and other languages
- Work with traders to determine application requirements
- Integrate custom systems with trading exchanges and market data vendors
- Support and maintain software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering
- History of academic excellence, with a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design and development
- Knowledge of C++, C#, the .NET framework, and SQL is preferred, but not required
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Desire to work in a team environment
- Interest in financial markets
