Associate / Rotational Trading Program

Position Summary

This 18-month program offers rotations through various Wolverine business units. The associate will be assigned roles within Wolverine's:

• Proprietary Trading Group (market-making and valuation arbitrage trading)
• Asset Management Group (management of structured arbitrage strategies for investors, via a hedge fund)
• Order Execution Services Group (customer order execution of equities, options, and futures)
• Technology Solutions Group (development of real-time trading applications)

In most cases, the rotations will provide access to Wolverine's electronic trading platform. The associate is likely to be exposed to various valuation arbitrage trading strategies. Working within different areas allows both the associate and Wolverine to evaluate the best long-term career starting point upon program completion.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities will vary, based on business unit and function
• The associate will participate in a comprehensive trader training program that includes Classroom Training, Electronic Mock Trading, Introduction to Software Development, and a Mentor Program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, or related field
• History of academic excellence
• Demonstrated interest in trading, financial markets, and technology
• Excellent quantitative and problem solving skills
• Entrepreneurial and self-motivated
• Strong communication skills and a desire to work in a team environment
• Prior internship in a related field is a plus
