Wolverine offers both formal and informal training for those hired into the trading program. Formal training entails: Classroom Training, Electronic Mock Trading, Introduction to Software Development, and a Mentor Program. Informal training takes place on a daily basis supported by the firm's flat structure and access to senior traders.

CLASSROOM TRAINING has three levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. The Beginner session provides an introduction to the basics of options theory. The Intermediate session addresses Wolverine's proprietary approach to trading options. The Advanced session offers a forum for senior traders to present ad hoc trading topics.

ELECTRONIC MOCK TRADING gives those in the trading program an opportunity to practice their electronic trading skills. We simulate live market data and order execution using Wolverine's electronic trading platform.

INTRODUCTION TO SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT highlights the importance of technology to Wolverine's trading. With the pervasiveness of electronic trading, more traders find that programming skills can enhance their effectiveness.

THE MENTOR PROGRAM facillitates open discourse by assigning a senior trader to a new hire.
